Housing Information for International Students
Sookmyung provides four types of dormitories for International Students(exchange and degree-seeking students only). Housing Application can be made through the Office of International Affairs.

Meals : Students are responsible for purchasing their own meals. There is no meal plan, but there are many alternatives. Students may buy their meals in one of the college cafeterias, or in the university area's many restaurants. There is also a shared-refrigerator space for storing milk, bread or other perishables. Nearby bakeries have coffee and rolls for breakfast, and both pizza and Chinese food can be delivered to the dorm. Many meals cost as little as the equivalent of US$4. Most students can eat adequately with a food budget of approximately US$300 per month.

The house has shared refrigerators for student use, lounge areas, study areas, a recreation area, a lecture room, a computer room, and laundry facilities (washing machines and dryers).

Single and Double Occupancy Room (18.5m2)
- [1] The above maintenance fee includes rent, furniture, electricity, gas, water, high speed internet, cable TV and heating up to KRW60,000 per month. Extra charge will be asked if electric and gas fees are higher than KRW60,000 per month.
- [2] Phone usage is not included in the above expenditures.
- [3] Long term residents are required to deposit KRW100,000 which they will receive upon terminating their contract, unless the facilities are damaged.
- [4] The above expenditure becomes effective on the first day of March, 2009. These expenses may fluctuate according to economic conditions determined by the University.
