In view of the rapid social development and diversification of social function, there is an increasing need for those who are well versed in all fields of juristic expertise and equipped with sound democratic knowledge. To keep pace with this trend, the Law College of Sookmyung Women's University aims to cultivate qualified feminine talent capable of responding to actual needs. The Division provides students with professional training based on the basic theories of jurisprudence, interpretation theory of positive law, and systematic education dealing with all the rapidly changing legal phenomena so that students are well-equipped to enter legal positions.
