The educational objective of the Sookmyung Women’s University Ph.D. course for Design is to systematically develop the study of design and to produce researchers of the next generation to lead the study of design within and outside the country. The Ph.D. course in Design of this graduate school aims to undergo a variety of research related to design based on free-flowing research exchange between students and advising professors, and to conduct research continuously for expanding and developing human-oriented design that can make our life more valuable and rich, centered on the 3 major fields of visual and image, industrial, and special environment design.
