The Department of Computer Science aims to produce the necessary workforce to lead the information society in the future. Students are thus encouraged to study not only computers, but to research all fields where computers are applied. The Department also tries to imbue them with the knowledge and educational skills for this purpose rather than simply teach techniques. The Division of Computer Science was originally established as the Department of Computer Science in 1982, was reorganized as the major of computer science under the Division of Information Science in 1998, and was reformed again to the Division of Computer Science in 2011.
Purpose of the Education
The education purpose of Division Computer Science is to foster the female computer science experts who have equipped with both professionality and practicality to lead the globalization and informatization era.
