The Department of French Language & Culture aims to help students acquire French, which is used as an official language in the UN, IOC, FIFA and other major international organizations in conjunction with English. Through a study of the French language, literature, and the culture of both France and French-speaking countries, the Department trains students to cultivate new values and perspectives.
Purpose of the Education
The education purpose of the Department of French language & Culture to foster the individual student’s potential ability to the maximum and to discharge the intellectual with the logical thinking and criticism capability through the extensive lectures on the French culture including the French language and research on the French cultural region
Education Goal
- Develop the individual student’s potential capability through the extensive lectures on the French language and culture.
- Discharge the intellectual with the professional knowledge by cultivating the logical thinking and criticism ability through the research on the French cultural region.
- Cultivate the professional womanpower complying with the social requirement based on the professional knowledge built up through the major education.
