Medical Examination

General Medical Office (Phone: +82-2-710-9146, 9147)
Examination, Counseling, Medication, Vaccination, Convalescence, and Emergency Medication Support are provided.
Students can receive medical treatment and medication based on doctor's examination after registration, and if necessary, they can be referred to an outside medical facility.

Major Works

Examinations and Counseling
The initial medical examination and treatment are conducted for internal medicine, surgery, dermatology, ophthalmology, and otorhinolaryngology in the general checkup room.
Physical Examinations of Newly Admitted Students
In February of each year, newly admitted students undergo general medical examination, dental examination, hepatitis B antigen-antibody examination, anemia test, urine test, chest X-ray, hearing test, blood pressure measurement, and physical measurement.
Free Health Checkup for Attending Students
Conduct disease management and prevention activities, including B-type hepatitis antigen & antibody test, anemia screening, blood sugar and lipid tests, and chest X-rays.
Vaccination
- Year-round availability of B-type hepatitis antigen-antibody examination.
- Recommend vaccination for A-type hepatitis due to increased disease ratio for the age group of 20~30.
- Year-round availability of rubella vaccination to prevent hereditary rubella syndrome.
- Influenza vaccination offered every Fall (around October) after announcement.
- Year-round availability of HPV vaccination for cervical cancer prevention, which can prevent about 70% of cervical cancer cases.
Insecticide Project
- Hepatitis B: Management of carriers identified through newly admitted physical examination and free health checkup, along with regular examination and counseling.
- Tuberculosis: Management of patients identified through chest X-rays, including counseling and referral to outside medical facilities.
Emergency Medication Support
Parasite Prevention: Free distribution of insecticide once a year (May) and year-round sales to prevent parasite infections.
Health Education
The General Medical Office provides support for emergency medication during university-recognized events both on and off-campus. Applicants must submit their applications to the office at least 2 days prior to the event.
Community Medical Service
The center provides exhibitions and lectures to promote health awareness and knowledge.
