Student Council

The Sookmyung Women's University Student Council was established with the purpose of fostering democratic and autonomous student governance based on the founding principles, educational philosophy, objectives, and regulations of our university, as well as its history and traditions. Through free and creative academic research and holistic character development, the Student Council strives to cultivate the 21st-century female leaders equipped with leadership skills.

Graduate Student Council

The Graduate Student Council of Sookmyung Women's University aims to uphold the ideals and traditions of Sookmyung through autonomous activities, contributing to the advancement of the scientific research and the democratization of the academy. Its purpose is to foster democratic development.

Union of Student Clubs

The Sookmyung Women's University General Club Union is a gathering of all student clubs on campus responsible for fostering a creative university culture. Through democratic and autonomous student activities, it aims to contribute to the development of a positive university culture and society. At the same time, it seeks to democratically gather opinions and resolve club-related issues autonomously.

The Graduation Preparation Committee

The Graduation Preparation Committee is an organization composed of 4th-year students, responsible for preparing for the graduation ceremony and managing graduation memorabilia. It is a student self-governing body. The committee members are selected from each college or department, with one representative. The selected members of the Graduation Preparation Committee carry out various volunteer activities to assist their fellow students for a year.
