Eduroam(Education Roaming)

Eduroam is a secure network service used by the international research and education community. It started in Europe in 2003 and is now available in 72 territories worldwide, including Korea. At Sookmyung Women's University, Eduroam has been provided since March 2013, allowing students and faculty to access the network at various universities across the country.

  • The Eduroam service offers encrypted network access for visitors from participating institutions, eliminating the need for guest credentials. When you visit other universities or research institutes with 'Eduroam' SSID, you can simply use your existing ID and password from your home institution's portal to connect to the Eduroam network. This ensures smooth and secure network access without the hassle of separate login credentials.
