“Pioneering New Materials Physics for a Sustainable Human Society.”

The field of New Materials Physics explores new physical phenomena based on the fundamental principles of physics, aiming to develop valuable knowledge and technologies for the benefit of human society. The major in New Materials Physics strives to cultivate female talents equipped with a deep understanding of various natural phenomena and material physics, scientific reasoning skills and practical abilities required in cutting-edge industries. To achieve this, the curriculum provides a systematic approach to comprehend diverse properties such as electrical, magnetic, optical and mechanical characteristics of materials, fostering the capacity to apply this knowledge in industrial and research setings, with a focus on semiconductors, electronic materials, nanomaterials and more.
