Educational Objectives:
The educational objective of the History and Culture Studies Department is to foster a deep understanding of Korean history and Western history as academic disciplines. Furthermore, it aims to enhance students' knowledge of historical studies by enabling them to write scholarly papers and gain practical academic experience.
Educational Goals:
- Foster a profound understanding of the cultures and histories of both Korea and the West, allowing for a comprehensive comprehension of human life and culture.
- Encourage in-depth research into the development processes of politics, economy, society, and culture in Korea and the West, leading to a broader understanding of human civilization.
- Cultivate critical thinking towards established academic disciplines.
