Craft Design seeks to cultivate creative craft designers with comprehensive thinking abilities that align with the demands of modern society for integrated talents who possess diverse experiences and knowledge, and can create new things through the fusion of different fields. To achieve this, the program focuses on producing specialized talents capable of implementing various material experiences and expressive techniques. Additionally, it fosters individuals who can lead the convergence and communication of new cultural arts through collaborations with branding, entrepreneurship, design, science and technology, as well as the humanities and social sciences, in line with the current trends.
Education Purposes
The purpose of education in the Division of Craft Design is to nurture students as leaders in the world of craft art, equipped with the abilities to modernize, shape, and globalize the values of Korean Craft Arts.
