The Department of Social Psychology strives to cultivate individuals who possess a comprehensive and objective understanding of various phenomena and issues related to human behavior. Our goal is to develop students' intellectual capabilities and insights, enabling them to scientifically investigate and analyze human behavior. Through a specialized curriculum, we aim to foster individuals who actively participate in diverse realms of society and have the character and competence to contribute to the future advancement of society

Education Purposes

The field of social psychology aims to understand the relationship between human behavior and society. It addresses the changing dynamics of gender relations, organizational structures, female participation, multiculturalism, and globalization in the 21st century. By integrating knowledge from social culture, women's studies, and psychology, social psychology seeks to find solutions to various social, cultural, and psychological issues. Through theoretical and practical education, it cultivates professionals who possess essential skills, a human-centered perspective, and the ability to apply their knowledge in diverse social contexts.

Education Goals

Social psychology is the study of human behavior, social interactions, and cultural dynamics. It aims to address various social and cultural issues by combining insights from psychology, social science, and women's studies. The discipline focuses on three key aspects:

  1. Developing a comprehensive understanding of human behavior and the ability to analyze collective phenomena objectively.
  2. Acquiring the skills to scientifically investigate and analyze human behavior through methodological training.
  3. Cultivating the personal qualities and capabilities necessary to positively contribute to the development of society across different social domains.

By studying social psychology, students can:

  1. Gain a holistic perspective on humanity through the study of psychology, social science, and women's studies.
  2. Understand the importance of human behavior and its interactions with the social environment.
  3. Develop practical skills for various fields, such as counseling psychology, clinical psychology, organizational psychology, women's psychology, social survey analysis, multicultural education, and leadership. This prepares them to address new challenges and contribute to society's evolving needs.
