However, access may be restricted according to Article 35(4) of the same Act.

You can request correction or deletion of personal information files held by Sookmyung Women's University, in accordance with Article 36 (Correction or Deletion of Personal Information) of the Personal Information Protection Act. However, if the personal information is specified as a collection target under other laws, you cannot request its deletion.
Request for Suspension of Personal Information Processing
You can request the suspension of processing personal information files held by Sookmyung Women's University, in accordance with Article 37 (Suspension of Processing Personal Information, etc.) of the Personal Information Protection Act. However, the request may be refused under Article 37(2) of the same Act.

Article 6 (Destruction of Personal Information)
Sookmyung Women's University, in principle, promptly destroys personal information once the purpose of processing is achieved. The procedures, deadlines, and methods for destruction are as follows:

After the purpose is achieved, personal information is immediately transferred to a separate storage or location and is stored for a certain period in accordance with internal policies and relevant laws. Personal information transferred to separate storage is not used for purposes other than those specified, unless required by law.
Destruction Deadline and Method
When the retention period expires, or when personal information becomes unnecessary due to the achievement of the processing purpose or the discontinuation of relevant operations, the information is promptly destroyed. Electronic files are technologically rendered irreproducible. Personal information printed on paper is destroyed using a shredder or incineration.

Sookmyung Women's University implements the necessary technological, managerial, and physical measures to ensure the security of personal information, as stipulated in Article 29 of the Personal Information Protection Act.
