Professor Hyunah Kim Awarded ‘Academic Excellence Award (Pharmacy Education)’ In the 2020 Academic Conference of Korean College of Clinical Pharmacy

On November 19, Professor Hyunah Kim, a professor in Sookmyung Women’s University college of Pharmacy, was awarded the ‘Academic Excellence Award-Pharmacy Education’ in the 24th general assembly and the academic conference of Korean College of Clinical Pharmacy (KCCP). The theme of the conference was ‘Achievements and Challenges of Clinical Pharmacy Education-Research-Practice in the New Normal Era’.
KCCP selects and awards the Academic Excellence Award to members who contribute to the development of the academic society or excel in academic research and education in the field of clinical pharmacy. Professor Hyunah Kim was awarded a commendation in recognition of her contribution to the improvement and development of clinical pharmacology education and practical practice education under the six-year system of pharmacy colleges.
Professor Hyunah Kim currently serves as the head of the practical training committee of the Korean Association of Pharmacy Education (KAPE), chairman of the general affairs committee of the KCCP, and as the chairman of education committee of Korean Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (KSPEN). In particular, she participated in a number of projects related to six-year integrated education of pharmacy colleges and practical training courses, pharmacist training education and professional pharmacist systems after graduating from pharmacy colleges, and has actively engaged in activities to utilize them in the field of pharmacy education.
