The opening ceremony of the Youth Entrepreneurship Support Center jointly operated by Sookmyung Women’s University’s Campus Town Project Group and Yongsan-gu was held on Friday, November 13, at a public complex facility (Seobinggo-ro 17) located in Hangangno-dong.

The Youth Entrepreneurship Support Center is an exclusive facility for fostering young entrepreneurs built in a public complex facility for residents in Yongsan-gu, located in District 4 (currently, Yongsan Central Park Harrington Square) around the International Building.

It’s 710m2 in size including a business incubation space, small meeting room, education room, and community space, and a total of 19 companies are currently occupied. The Campus Town Project Group, in charge of operation, supports market verification programs, pitching competitions, back office support services, IR consulting projects, manpower support vouchers, and professional counseling and education programs for tenant companies.

Starting with the campus town unit project in 2017, Sookmyung Women’s University has formed a partnership with Yongsan-gu and cooperated closely in the field of youth entrepreneurship and urban regeneration. “Through the support of the Campus Town Project, I hope that the Youth Entrepreneurship Support Center can become the birthplace of competitive young entrepreneurs, and I hope the resident enterprises can become the symbols of Yongsan Y-Valley’s success much like the Silicon Valley,” said President Yunkeum Chang.
