Sookmyung, Selected for '2018 University Division Private Cloud Leadership Support Project'

Sookmyung university was selected for the '2018 University DivisionPrivate Cloud Leadership Support Project' sponsored by the Korea Information Society Agency (NIA).
This project is implemented to secure success stories by supporting the use of pubic cloud and leading demand activities of public organizations (university) and to promote public sector. A total of seven universities, including Yonsei and Sungkyunkwan, were selected, and each university will receive 30 million won for business expenses.
The Information & Communications Team believes that the reason for the selection of our university is that it meets the standards of cloud impact, urgency, and feasibility. A team official said, "Since last year, our university has been reviewing related technology and budget that can be implemented, such as LMS and streaming, in order to establish a foundation for utilizing cloud services."
