Corporative Alliance with the Small and Medium Business Administration to Support College Entreprene

Our University and the Small and Medium Business Administration formed an alliance to expand entrepreneurship. Students who will be majoring in “Entrepreneurship,” a newly-established major, are expected to gain government support.
To systematically foster youth entrepreneurs who will contribute to society, our university and the government are throwing themselves into it.Our university is going to run the Entrepreneurship major from the next spring semester. The founding of the new major is to spread entrepreneurial mind and vitalize woman leadership education.
The entrepreneurship major is the first college program to raise global business leaders who are innovative and capable of inaugurating their own enterprises. Our school will be offering specialized education to encourage students’ entrepreneurial mind to help them actually start businesses in the domestic and global market through this major.
In relation to this, our university and the Small and Medium Business Administrationheld a meeting to discuss bilateral cooperation to spread ‘entrepreneurship’ and agreed on mutual alliance to run it successfully on Thursday 6th August.
The alliance includes various cooperative details to operate entrepreneurship major effectively. Our school is planning to give additional points to woman entrepreneurs, successors of family businesses, and prizewinners of theentrepreneurship competition held by the Small and Medium Business Administration. Moreover, students’entrepreneurial activities will be authorized as credit.
The Small and Medium Business Administration stated that they will support students if they participate in diverse projects organized by them. In addition, they will fund for entrepreneur club activities, developing business items and programs, training sessions abroad, enterprise class, registration fee for entrepreneurship competitions, and commercializing outstanding business ideas. Students majoring in Entrepreneurship will be also favored by the Small and Medium Business Administration when they apply for entrepreneurship graduate school or a client of the Business Incubator Center.
Through the government support for college students’entrepreneurship, the environment for students who dream of becoming entrepreneurs is expected to improve greatly. Up to now, students with outstanding business mind systematically find it hard to reach stepping-stones to the future to realize their dreams. Entrepreneurship major will grow youth entrepreneurs who will contribute to our society. We hope that it will create a desirable entrepreneurial culture.
