Sookmyung Business Incubation Center Selected as Central Seoul’s Base Business Center

Sookmyung’s Business Incubation Center (BIC), chosen as the base BIC, will be subsidized 70 million won by the city of Seoul and will use this subsidy to support promising startup companies in analysis, self-diagnosis, the development of new technologies,‘idea business consulting’, public relations, seminars for business incubation, and so on. Sookmyung BIC will also develop policies and projects based on a survey of the startup companies and on the supply and demand of business training.
The BIC in Sookmyung, opened last March, provides potential company founders with specialized training for one-person creative companies, a team of mentors and dedicated managers associated with the CEO course in culture contents, support in entering the new overseas market, and a specialized network of cultural contents. Additionally, Sookmyung BIC provides an entrepreneurship course promoting an entrepreneurial spirit and an entrepreneurship center infrastructure, both having a synergy effect.
An officer in the business incubation center commented, “The reason why Sookmyung’s Business Incubation Center was chosen was that it had good results. From this year we’ll not spare any effort to support good venture companies in collaboration with Seoul city.
