Our university forms exchange agreement with Suleyman Sah University in Turkey

President Sun hye Hwang and President Huseyin Ekiz of Suleyman Sah University formed the agreement on Tuesday, the 1st of this month, at the Administrative Building of our main campus, stating activation of joint research and exchange between professors and students of the two universities, special lectures, and symposiums, etc.
Suleyman Sah University is a new prestigious university of Turkey that was established in Istanbul in 2010, and especially boasts the top level of social science in the country. It pursues becoming a research-focused university that teaches knowledge, information and technology of an international level based on academic research, and is evaluated as having international competitive as most of the classes are taught in English, among other things.
The two universities pursued the agreement based on the active recommendation of the Istanbul Culture Center. This is especially known to be the first exchange agreement with a Korean university for Suleyman Sah University.
Meanwhile, our university is continuing active exchange with various prestigious Turkish universities - Ankara University (2010), Erciyes University (2011) and Okan University (2013) - and a total of 7 Turkish students are either currently attending or are graduates of our university. 5 additional exchange students each year will be able to study in Turkey through this new exchange with Suleyman Sah University.
An International Cooperation Team personnel said, "The agreement with Suleyman Sah University is expected to lead to active exchange with the Turkish area, where Korean culture is gradually spreading, and we hope it will expand exchange opportunities with various cultural areas for our university students, too."
