The Director of The Asia Pacific Women's Information Network Center Kim Myeong-hui said, “From the fact that there is a gradual increase of opportunities for women to exercise their competence in this era of creative economy that requires creative ideas and innovative technologies, we will emphasize the importance of fostering competent women in the ICT sector as well as making active efforts to create opportunities for APEC women to actively participate in economic activities through continuous seminars and global networking.”
