Job fair opens organized by the Institute of Career Development and Career Development Center

The job fair that was held for two days conducted diverse booth activities and events related to students’ career and employment as well as corporate counseling, various events, special lectures, and presentations. The students were able to quench their curiosity on interested companies through a one-on-one counseling provided at the event zone and by counselors from various companies such as Kia Motors, E-land, and Lotte Group.
After receiving counseling from a booth of a company that she was interested in, student Nam Dong-joo (Entrepreneurship Major 13) said, “Because I am preparing for open recruitment at the end of this year, the job fair was a very meaningful time for me because I got a lot of information on how to prepare for employment, interview tips, and so on from the companies I am interested in.”
The operation center of the job fair promoted active participation from the students by holding an event that gives souvenirs when students collect stamps every time they participated in booths of each company, special lectures, and various events. The job fair was made more meaningful by many side events such as color image making, CV photo shoot, hair and makeup, among others.
At the Centennial Hall’s Samsung Convention Center during the job fair, special lectures were held with titles such as “How to Prepare CV and Cover Letter for Open Recruitment” and “How to Prepare for Open Recruitment Interviews.” In addition, presentations on recruitment by the Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation and Lotte Group were also held over the two days.
