Our University held an Opening Ceremony for University Creative Job Center

After the opening ceremony ended, the participants have walked through the University Creative Job Center and Sookmyung Start-up Resource Center located on the second floor of the Student Center, and met job applicants to provide advice and encouragement regarding the employment policy.
Our university has been selected as the only Women’s university for the Creative Job Center Project, and will be receiving a total of 2.75 billion won over the next 5 years to construct a core service model to substantially expand young employment based on local young professional employment governance.
In particular, our university has concluded a convention with the city of Yong-san alongside the city of Seoul and is the only university being supported by the greater province and the local self-government, and hope to be a leading example of University Creative Job Center where government, local self-government and university co-exist. Moreover, customized employment skill enhancement specialized for women and start-up support integrated with the rich on-campus start-up infrastructure have been anticipated as well.
Our university’s head of University Creative Job Center, Yoo Jong-sook, commented “We are the first women’s university to be selected to participate in both, the IPP Work-Study Project and the University Creative Job Center Project, and have achieved the position of excellence in relations to employment” and further noted “We will diligently contribute in resolving our young professional’s employment problems by providing comprehensive and a variety of services relative to work”.
