Our IPP Project Group receives “A Rating” in the 2017 IPP Work-based Learning Performance Evaluation

The IPP Project Group of our university’s Career Development was selected as an outstanding university by receiving “A Rating” in the 『2017 IPP Work-based Learning Performance Evaluation』 that was organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and implemented by the Korean Skills Quality Authority.
IPP Work-based Learning Project is a model industry-university cooperation project that is organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and implemented by the Human Resources Development Service of Korea. It is gaining attention as a program that fosters practical human resources who are both equipped with theory and practice through the two tracks of “NCS-linked work-based learning” and “industry-linked long-term practical learning.”

Since being appointed as the first generation of IPP work-based learning women’s school in 2015, our university has been implementing the project for 4 years. During this period, a total of 626 students have participated in the IPP project.
Through this evaluation, our university’s outstanding implementation of the project was widely recognized by receiving “A Ratings” in both “IPP long-term practical learning” and “IPP work-based learning” categories as well as by receiving “A Rating” for total points overall.
Work-based Learning Consultation with IPP Project Group’s Industry-University Cooperation Professor
The officials from the Office of Work Experience Support emphasized that “The differentiation as an onsite training customized to women by specializing into administrative accounting, advertisement/public relations, and marketing areas as well as finding good businesses through cooperation from all members such as professors, alumni entrepreneurs, and IPP Project Group were the keys to our success.”
The Head of Career Development Ok Gyeong-yeong said, “We were able confirm the superiority of our university’s onsite training program through this evaluation,” and “We will turn this into an opportunity to improve employment rate by advancing more excellent students into industries through the IPP program as well as fostering outstanding women individuals centered on practical competence.”
