SISS, which opens during the summer vacation, was divided into two sections, with the first section in July and second section in August. For the first section, a total of 26 students from nine countries including Taiwan, the United States, the Netherlands, Ecuador and Switzerland, and foreign teachers working at universities like the University of Illinois and Stanford University visited our university.
Classes were opened related to feminism such as International Relations from the Perspective of Women, Understanding Media and Gender, and the Literature World of Asian-American Women Writers. There were also various field programs such as a visit to a music program at a major broadcasting network (MBC Music Focus), a Korean food cooking experience, a visit to The National Folk Museum of Korea, and a DMZ tour, to introduce the Korean culture to our visitors.
