"Going Out With Professors!" Student Guidance Day On November 8th

Professors of each major departments gave students counseling and had meaningful time in various places instead of their offices or lecture rooms. They went out to off-campus such as ancient palaces, mountain climbing, theaters to discuss on students career or academic problems.
School of Communication and Media visited broadcasting station such as KBS, SBS, CJ, E&M and spent quality of time having discussion with the staff. Meanwhile, Department of Social Psychology visited team of staff working at Digital Forensic Team of Prosecutor's Office to get advice on their major.
Furthermore, they visited various places such as ROK-US Combined Forces Command (Department of Political Science & International Relations), Museum in Daehangno (Division of Korean Language & Literature), Gwangju BIENNALE (college of fine arts), Korean palace-Deoksugung(Department of Food & Nutrition), Cheonggye Mountain(The Department of Medical & Pharmaceutical Science ).
In addition to this, Student Culture and Welfare team held 'Movie day with Professors and students'. Seo hyerim(Department of Environmental Design 11), one of the students who participated in this program said that it was such a great day to have deep talk with professors and form a strong bond.
A staff at the Student Culture and Welfare team said, "We planned this event to help students not only in their academical ways but also in providing some guidance in their lives. We will try harder to make exciting events in the every upcoming semester to help Sookmyungians have better campus life."
