This event was held under the slogan “An event created by Sookmyung students, sharing startup ideas of Sookmyung students, and enjoyed by Sookmyung students.” Considering the difficult traveling situation due to COVID-19, the online and offline event venues were decorated with an airport concept, and the contest was broadcast live, drawing high interest and participation from students.

The contest was judged based on criteria such as “innovativeness of ideas,” “business feasibility,” and “customer verification,” which were evaluated and selected by Sookmyung Women's University’s Dean of Entrepreneurship Engagement Foundation Cheol Choi and external judges.

In addition, the Sookmyung Entrepreneurship Society (SES) promoted the Startup Community (S:con), etc., and along with the supporters, they prepared events to promote ESG innovations such as the “Along with Cheongpa-ro Cafe” event that encourages the use of reusable cups and the creation of a Christmas tree using recycled materials.

Cheol Choi, the Dean of Entrepreneurship Engagement Foundation, said, “It was a valuable time to develop new startup ideas through students’ high passion for startups and online and offline communication.” and “Based on the opinions from this event, we will introduce a more advanced startup contest next year.”
