Our university is set to engage in academic and cultural collaboration with Saudi Arabia’s leading research institute, the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies (KFCRIS).
On Monday, April 14, University President Moon Si Yeun visited KFCRIS in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and met with HRH Prince Turki AlFaisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Chairman of the Center.
During the meeting, both sides agreed to promote various forms of exchange, including exhibitions, cultural events, joint research projects, and the sharing of academic resources. They also expressed a shared commitment to enhancing mutual understanding between Korea and Saudi Arabia and expanding networks for cultural exchange.
Founded in 1983, KFCRIS is Saudi Arabia’s premier research institution, conducting original and specialized studies in the fields of humanities and social sciences. As a knowledge hub connecting researchers across the Middle East and the globe, the Center plays a vital role in preserving and promoting Saudi history and culture through its research and publications, as well as through facilities such as the Al-Faisal Family Archives and museums.
