Sookmyung is excited to welcome you into the Sookmyung international student community no matter where you are in the world!
We look forward to helping you start the semester off strong. This orientation is structured to help support your transition to Sookmyung whether you are beginning your studies in Spring 2021, or you have already begun your studies remotely but are entering the Sookmyung for the first time this semester. Considering the current pandemic situation, orientation will be conducted by ZOOM.

Sookmyung offers ONLY single room for new freshman and new transfer students because of COVID-19.
Room number will be informed when you check-in. For those who will start their quarantine periods at dormitory, check-in period will be notice via email. On average, it starts before 2weeks from our check-in date.
The Korean government strictly restricts foreigners from entering the country to prevent the spread of the COVID-19.
Kindly check whether the Embassy or related consulates offer VISA process in your country or not and also need to check the flight schedule.
You can start your semester remotely without any concerns at the moment, for more detail information, please join the orientation which is scheduled on 4th February, 2021.
